JAN PAUL HERZER M.A.

I studied Audio Engineering at the SAE Hamburg, Systematic Musicology at the University of Hamburg and Sound Studies - Acoustic Communication at the University of the Arts (UdK) in Berlin.

I work as sound designer, musician and programmer in the spectrum between acoustic scenography, functional sound, game design and installation art. I am one of the two founders of hands on sound, an artist collective and design agency that specializes on sound design for architectural space and makes extensive use of interactive and generative audio concepts.

While running a small office for almost a decade and being involved in professional projects with different sizes and scopes, I maintained my urge for experimentation, artistic expression and innovation.
